Saturday, July 18, 2015: Early Saturday morning, we flew from Indy to Dulles to London. |

... so we were treated to a beautiful view of London at night. Here's the Thames with the London Eye all lit up. |

Our luggage has arrived! This is Tom's favorite photo of our first day of the vacation. |

Once at London Heathrow, we headed outside of Terminal 2, passing this very cool sculpture that is too large to be captured in just one photo. |

We crossed over to the bus departure area to catch the very last Hotel Hoppa Bus of the day. Being the only ones at the stop who seemed to have a clue, we were able to reassure many people that the posted schedule did, in fact, note that one more bus would be coming that evening, plus we helped a woman who had no idea she'd have to pay in cash by selling her some British pounds. We arrived at the Novotel after midnight only to find that our prepaid room was not available. None of that mess was photographed but it happened. |
