These habitats were inspired by LEGO's "Everyone is Awesome" set, which was the first set I bought when I caught the LEGO bug in March 2022. In late 2022, I built a habitat for each of the 11 colors in the set. I enjoyed that so much that I collected minifigures in as many different additional colors as possible, and built an additional 28 habitats in early 2023. This wasn't easy, because many minifigure parts don't come in all of the colors I was collecting. So, I've had to improvise here and there. I've hidden some missing legs, torsos, arms, and hands. I've turned around torsos with print on the front but little or no print on the back. I've covered up torsos that didn't come with a blank or nearly-blank side. I've replaced missing heads with round 1x1 bricks. I've had to be inventive with colors that don't come in standard-sized bricks and plates (especially that pesky gold!). But mostly, I've had a lot of fun showcasing many of the colors of the LEGO rainbow, highlighting special pieces that only come in a few colors, and creating little stories in 8x8x8 spaces.
