Mediterranean Cruise 2004:
Day 6 - At Sea

Thursday, July 1, 2004: We enjoyed our first day at sea, which was a welcome rest after five busy ports. Our balcony was tiny, and even worse, it was in the shade most of the day. The design of the Millennium and her sister ships includes a top deck that overhangs the decks below, blocking the sun. Strangely, the more expensive rooms were the worst off. If we were to do it again, we would have opted for a 2C cabin instead of 1A and gotten better sun.

That evening, the moon was nearly full. With Tom's usual luck, the full moon was scheduled for the next day, which was his birthday.
