Special Olympics 2003
Claire participated in another Challenge Day on May 17, 2003, which was held during the Indiana Special Olympics spring games. Click on the photos below to see a larger version.
 Claire loves basketball, which is how it should be, since she's a lifelong resident of Indiana. |
 Here's an athlete whose name I've forgotten, dropping rings into a box. Although he was autistic, he was able to drop the rings after some encouragement. |
 I've forgotten this little boy's name, but not his enthusiasm and joy in participating. |

 Claire loves bowling! She often gets to go bowling with her class on field trips. |

 Even outdoors, Claire's name was announced over a loud speaker as she received her participation medal, much to her delight. |
