Monday, November 18, 2019: Oh, it was nice to sleep in and wake up in the middle of the ocean.

We headed down to the Taste dining room for breakfast. Normally, we always eat at the buffet restaurant for breakfast, but we decided to give it a try. We were seated at a table for two by the window, so we were very happy. We were asked if we wanted coffee and we declined, but Tom asked for hot tea instead.
Our server took our order, offered us coffee again, and Tom again asked for hot tea. Another person stopped by before our food arrived and offered us coffee and we declined again, noting that Tom had ordered hot tea.
It never, ever arrived. This was our last breakfast in the restaurant.
We spent the morning relaxing in our cabin ...

... and keeping an eye on our location with the onscreen map.

We did a bit of looking around the ship before lunch. Here's the beautiful chandelier in the atrium.
Just off the atrium, we discovered that our ship had an ice bar! We made a mental note to visit it later in the week.
We had lunch at the ship's buffet restaurant, the Garden Cafe.
Oh, that chocolate bread pudding was heavenly!
We figured out quickly that the easiest place to find a table away from the crowds is to go to the very back of the restaurant. Fewer people and better view - it's a winning combination! It also made it easy for us to find each other once we'd been through the buffet lines.
We got caught up on our reading in the afternoon.
The temperatures were rising as we travelled south. The day before, we were using gloves, and now it was shorts weather.
The sky was beautiful as sunset approached.
In the distance, we could see a Carnival ship on the horizon, most likely Carnival Glory again, which appeared to be floating on the water.
Beautiful sunset.
Norwegian's phone app makes it easy to make a dinner reservation, so we had booked a table for two in the Taste dining room at 5:30 PM. Debbie didn't want any of the evening's selections so she chose the steak that is available every night and didn't much like it.
Tom had Boston Bluefish and was equally unimpressed. Service was very slow, the tables were too close together, and we didn't enjoy the experience. We left before dessert and didn't eat at any restaurant other than the Garden Cafe for the rest of the week.
We headed to the Garden Cafe for dessert, where the carved watermelon told us that it had been American Night.
