Friday, November 18, 2016: We had a brand new van with 99 miles on it. What to do? What to do? Let's put a couple thousand miles on it!
We headed out after work on Friday and promptly ran into rainstorm near Crawfordsville.
Not a problem - we ducked into a KFC for dinner moments before the downpour hit.
Back on the road, the sky was clearing up ahead for us.
We drove through Peoria ...
... and were at our first destination of La Quinta Inn in Moline, IL, by 8:30 PM local time.
