Sunday, August 3, 2008: We awoke back where we started -- in lovely Puerto Rico facing Old San Juan. |

Debarkation morning is always a harsh wakeup call. All the fun is over and all that is left is to get home. However, we try to make the most of it anyway and today was no exception. We had one unmet goal for our trip: find and drink the popular Puerto Rican drink, Malta. |

On our way off the ship, we traced where we had been on the ship's electronic map. |

We waited in line for our transfer to the airport and Debbie spotted this large seahorse sculpture in front of a hotel. As Tom says, "Chicks dig seahorses." |

The new Puerto Rico airport is shiny and modern. We had hours to kill before our flight and had no problem doing so. |

First order of business: try this Malta we've heard of. It was featured on a recent episode of Top Chef and we were curious. We were warned that it was an acquired taste, and there's some truth in that, but it wasn't bad at all. |

Next, we had a delicious lunch and the next thing we knew, it was midnight and we were back home safely in Indianapolis where we belong. ** THE END ** |
