New Zealand 2006:
Day 7 - At Sea

	Sunday, March 19, 2006: On our first full day at sea, we arose early to see the sunrise as we passed through Cook Strait between the north and south islands of New Zealand.
	Facing east, this is the North Island to our left.
	Still facing east, this is our first glimpse of the South Island to our right.
	Following along closely with Tom's GPS, we neared the northeast tip of the South Island.
	Here it is a little closer.
	Several hours later, we rounded the northwest tip and started down the western side of the South Island.
	The weather was perfect and the coastal scenery was wonderful, so we celebrated in the sun with a few piña coladas. Day 8 >
